Meet Mrs. Minnesota International 2012!

Sarah Bazey (Mrs. Minneapolis) was crowned Mrs. Minnesota International 2012 on March 11th in St. Cloud, Minnesota, where she competed with other "county/city" title holders from across the state. These women are recognized for their achievements as individuals and as a vital part of the family unit.

Her Platform
"Dare to SOAR...Survivors Offering Assistance and Recovery"
Sarah is an active volunteer and National Board Trustee & Officer for thePhoenix Society for Burn Survivors. In 1994, She survived a horrific helicopter crash, but not without enduring severe burns to 40% of her body when the helicopter exploded while she was still belted inside. As a burn survivor and because of her dedication to the Survivors Offering Assistance in Recovery (SOAR) program sponsored by the Phoenix Society for Burn Survivors, this message holds special meaning for her.

Her willingness to share her story in order to help other survivors and their loved ones, and to educate the public on severe burns and prevention is a gift. She has delivered numerous keynote addresses in the US & Canada for the American Burn Association, the World Burn Congress, and various community groups.
