Meet Mrs. Minnesota International 2001!

Kelly Jahner-Byrne (Mrs. Washington County) former Mrs. Minnesota International 2001 was crowned on March 18th, 2001 in St. Cloud. Minnesota, where she competed with 25 other "county/city" title holders from across the state. These women are recognized for their achievements as individuals and as a vital part of the family unit. Kelly and her husband John have one son, Pearse. They reside in Woodbury, Minnesota. Kelly is National Sales Director for a major hotel chain. She is also an Entrepreneur and President/CEO of Kelly Enterprises, L.T.D. She is a professional vocalist, author and speaker. Kelly's hobbies include water skiing, scuba, eating anything her personal chef cooks (husband John), snowmobiling, horseback riding, and traveling to distant places to practice her foreign language skills.

Her Platform

Kelly speaks on Volunteerism. Through her volunteer efforts, Kelly has helped raise over a million dollars for organizations including; The Cancer Benefit Fund, American Cancer Society, and Goodwill Easter Seals. She has logged over 4500 volunteer hours since 1993. Kelly has had the opportunity to work with 35 non-profit organizations in Minnesota in the past five years. Her favorite saying is "Volunteer for Life" and she is the author of a book by the same title. Kelly's mission is to motivate, and encourage individuals to get involved in their communities through volunteer work. One person can make a difference in the lives of others!
